Assess your Communication Competency Levels

For your communications to be successful you need to be confident, clear and know how to engage and connect with others effectively. This comes more naturally to some than others but, with practice, anyone can become a great communicator. Have a go at our self-assessment and test your competency!

Self-Assessment

Communication is one of the most important skills that you need to succeed in the workplace.

If you want to be an expert communicator, you need to be effective at all points in the communication process – from “sender” through to “receiver” – and you must be comfortable with the different channels of communication – face-to-face, online, written, etc.

This is because poor communicators often struggle to develop their careers beyond a certain point. So, how can you find out how good your communication skills really are? Take this assessment to find out.

Key Takeaways:

  • Self-Awareness: The assessment helps you identify your strengths and areas for improvement in communication, increasing your overall self-awareness.

  • Targeted Development: By pinpointing specific areas where you may need growth, you can focus your efforts on the most impactful skills to enhance your communication.

  • Actionable Insights: The results provide clear insights into how your communication style is perceived, allowing you to make adjustments for more effective interactions.

  • Personalized Learning: Understanding your current competency levels allows you to set personalized goals and tailor your learning experience throughout the “Communicate with Impact” course.

  • Growth Mindset: The assessment encourages a proactive approach to continuous improvement, fostering a mindset that values feedback and adaptability in communication.
