Hi everyone!
I wanted to take a moment to share some highlights from our “Communicate with Impact” workshop that took place this past Wednesday. It was an incredible experience, and I’m thrilled about the energy and enthusiasm that everyone brought to the session.
What We Focused On
We spent the morning diving deep into what it really means to communicate effectively. It’s not just about what you say, but how you say it—and we explored that in detail. From mastering the art of speaking with confidence to the subtle power of body language, we covered it all.
One of my favourite part was our interactive exercises. You all did such an amazing job in the role-playing scenarios, and it was great to see everyone step out of their comfort zones. We also talked a lot about active listening because, let’s face it, communication is a two-way street!
Some Memorable Moments

Speaking Clearly and Concisely: One of the key exercises we did was centered around the 7 C’s of communication—making sure we’re Clear, Concise, Concrete, Correct, Coherent, Complete, and Courteous. Each participant took a turn delivering a short message, which was then relayed by someone else in the group. It was amazing to see how well everyone incorporated what they’d learned, from the use of tone to their non-verbal cues.

The Johari Window and Feedback: We also explored the Johari Window model, which provided a great framework for understanding the importance of feedback in communication. We practiced giving and receiving feedback in a constructive way, emphasizing how crucial it is for growth and improvement.

Ongoing Assessment: To keep the momentum going, we’ll be using the Chatterbox Forum as a follow-up exercise. It’s a space where everyone can continue practicing and receive additional feedback on their communication skills. I’m looking forward to seeing how you all progress!
